    Anyone know how to edit the "Evolution Requirement" on the wiki? http://pkmngotrading.com/wiki/Pokemon? I have tried making some changes directly to the http://pkmngotrading.com/wiki/Dragonite page but it never populates.

    I added the following to Dragonite:

    Change 1 (near top)
    |Evolves From=[[Dragonair]]
    |Evolves To=[[Dragonite]]
    |Evolution Requirement=125 [[Dratini Candy]]

    Change 2 (near bottom)
    ==Evolution==
    *Evolution Requirement: 125 [[Dratini Candy]]

    Hey Borra, Evolution Requirement is the amount of candy needed to evolve the Pokemon to the next one (i.e. Dratini requires 25 to become Dragonair). Not the amount of candy needed to evolve the base Pokemon to that pokemon. Sorry we made it confusing. Do you have any suggestions about how we should word it to make it clear?

    I am trying to update the wiki but its not working. I want to datafill all the "Evolution Requirements" for the pokemon list.

    I know to get to the Dragonite it goes like this
    Dratini +25 --> Dragonair +100 -->> Dragonite

    I figured for the wiki Pokemon evolution it would be a total of 125 Dratini candies since the Dratini is the base and easiest to find.

    Do you know what fields in the wiki I need to modify to have the Evolution Requirements to show up on the main pokemon list?

    Borra, Evolution Requirement is the amount of candy needed to evolve to the next Pokemon. For Dragonite it would be 0 since Dragonite is the final evolution.

    Ok, I see how you are doing it.

    I guess what I want to see is not listed in the Pokemon list and I misunderstood it. When I read evolution requirements for that particular pokemon I thought it mean what evolution requirements are needed to be met to get to that particular pokemon and not what that pokemon can evolve to eventually with x candies.

    I want to know how many candies I need to have to get from the base to the final evolution without having to click on the pokemon details and adding up the candies required to evolve from base to final.

    For example, if I have a dratini (base) how many candies do I need to get to Dragonite (final evolution). Or how many candies do I need to go from Magicarp to Gyarados.

    You asked for my opinion so, I would have used that column differently. I would have used it to show how many total candies are needed to get to that particular pokemon.

    So for the Dratini line I would have the Evolution Requirements as such:
    Dragonair = 25 Dratini Candies
    Dragonite = 125 Dratini Candies

    I know this is not how you are doing it and understand now. I would like to add another column that shows the info I am looking for. Trying to decide what would be the best way to describe it as to not confuse it with the other column.

    Maybe
    "Total Evolution Requirement" for the new column --> Total candies to evolve from base to that particular pokemon state
    "Next Evolution Requirement" for the current column --> Candies needed to evolve from that particular pokemon to the next evolution state

    Let me know what you guys decide would be the best "|<Name>" and I can start adding content. I have most of the info already in a spreadsheet on my PC but I like the wiki better.

    We've decided on Total Evolution Req and Next Evolution Req. See http://pkmngotrading.com/wiki/Dragonair as an example. We've added links for them to better explain their meaning. Just add the numbers and not the [[XXX Candy]] after the number. Only including the numbers will allow the tables to sort better!

    Looks good. It takes a little time to show up in the table. If you want it to show up instantly just go to http://pkmngotrading.com/wiki/Pokemon, click edit then save without changing anything.

    Ok, check it out and let me know how you want the <Empty> fields to be data filled.

    I can leave it blank, put 0, N/A or as you can see on some I have put Max & Base.

    Let me know and I will finish it up. I personally like Max & Base but you let me know what you want to see.
