There is no tutorial on how to throw a ball. You are going to lose a lot of them so be careful. How to throw the ball can be tricky. The better the throw you do do, gives you more XP which is a plus!
I am going to bookmark this for when I can get back on because I kid you not, I wasted so many pokeballs missing! I don't know what I was doing wrong but I must have been sliding it instead of "flicking" it?? >.>
I only tried a few times and I wasted so many balls I wish I had seen this sooner. I am going to practice tomorrow. I don't want to play out in the dark. I have read some pretty messed up news stories.
Tip for this: I tend to throw to the right side......if the pokemon is in the middle of the screen....I aim for the center-right side on a diagonal with the ball...once you release it will actually curve back and smack the pokemon. It takes a little getting used to but the adjustments for different screen areas get easier with time ^_^. Hope this helps! ~Jae
