Wow really!? So you might have to complete the game before ever getting a chance at catching Mewtwo? That seems a bit harsh. I mean some people don't have time to invest a lot. It should be level restricted at most.
I heard that they had Mewtwo in the game originally and took him out for some reason and since adding him back, he is like 100 times as rare. Like people have yet to find him in the US I believe.
I have not found either of them. I have a friend who plays this game weekly and for hours at a time and she had not seen a single one. I swear they have them hidden in some really obscure places or something.
Wow I didn't even know about this! I thought both would have been found several times by now with the number of people who play the game. That is nuts to think about. The theory could be right too.
