There is a voltorb and magnemite nest at Pier 70 in Philadelphia. I have also seen multiple Psyducks on the Schuykill River between the rowing houses and the art museum, and usually many other water pokemon near that area, magikarps, goldeens, staryu, and horsea. Finally, there is reliably a magikarp in the pond of the Shofuso Japanese House and Garden in west fairmount park.
To add some info on the trainer spots in Philly: Spruce St Harbor Park has 3 pokestops and 0 gyms, and is a great place to catch water pokemon out of the delaware river, especially magikarp, goldeen, staryu, and some rarer water pokemon like psyduck, golduck, slowpoke, and shellder. It also has hammocks to relax in, if you can find one available. Washington Square has 11 pokestops and 0 gyms, and has common/uncommon pokemon like rattata, weedle, caterpie, pidgey, pincer, doduo, krabby, goldeen, staryu, etc, as well as some more rare pokemon like ghastly, geodude, and growlithe. I would also like to propose a new trainer spot - fairmount waterworks. FWW has 19 pokestops and 2 gyms, and is a great place to catch both common land pokemon, such as pidgey, rattata, spearow, weedle, caterpie, eevee, etc, as well as water pokemon, including magikarp, staryu, horsea, slowpoke, and psyduck, as well as the very occasional venomoth, golduck, and dratini.
Came across this list of places in Philadelphia that someone compiled. I confirmed the Pikachus in Marconi Park yesterday, the wife and I went there and caught 2 each in the span of 5 minutes of driving the perimeter.
Here is a useful map that anyone with a google account can add to if they would like, of rare pokemon, gyms, and pokestops in Pennsylvania. http://www.pogopa.com
I located a cubone nest today in the park surrounding cobbs creek, especially in the area around the cobbs creek recreation center. Caught 3 in 15 minutes. http://i.imgur.com/z1HuIaS.jpg http://i.imgur.com/4DgRK0Z.jpg http://i.imgur.com/umI00DK.jpg
I can confirm the machop spawn at 40th and locust, but they actually spawn in the park there, Hamilton village.
201 monroe rd sarver pa 16055 Buffalo Golf Course in Sarver, Pa is an amazing Charmander nest, I caught 17 in an hour!
With the exception of magnetite and Voltorb at Walmart on pier 70, most of these have changed with the last migration. I'm new here, is there a place to check for the most recent nest info?
