==Basic Information==

[[Gyms]] are [[locations]] around the world that allow players to [[battle]] other [[Pokemon]] to gain control of them. They appear as large structures in game. When you enter a Gym for the first time and you're at least [[level]] 5, you will be asked to choose a [[Team]]. When a Gym is silver, it means that it is currently unoccupied. You can claim it for your [[team]] and leave a Pokemon there to [[defend]] it.
