How to Create A Trainer Spot Page

See Argyle Park in Long Island, New York as an example.

  1. Search NameofTheLocation in NameOfCity, NameOfState in the Search Bar (top right corner of the screen)
  2. Click on the Red Link
  3. Go to the Trainer Spot Infobox Template and copy and paste the the infobox into the empty page.
  4. Fill in all the infobox parameters and publish.
    1. The map is generated automatically based on the Latitude and Longitude.
    2. The Trainer Spot's information is automatically added to the table in the corresponding Trainer Spots in Location pages, i.e. Trainer Spots in New York.


Parameters

Name of the Pokemon

|Image=

Image of the Pokemon
E.g. bulbasaur1.png

|Latitude=

Latitude of the Map Coordinate for the Nest
E.g. 40.770727

|Longitude=

Longitude of the Map Coordinate for the Nest
E.g. -73.975912

|Country=

Country of where the Nest is

|State/Province=

State or Province of where the Nest is

|Town/City=

Town or City of where the Nest is

|Address=

Street Address of where the Nest is

|Location Name=

Location Name of the Nest (usually in a park)
E.g. Central Park
Place the Location name in the page name. For example: Electabuzz Nest - Central Park

|Notes=

Notes and additional information

|Additional Info=

Link back to the Pokemon's Nests page
E.g. Pinsir Nests

|Status=

If Confirmed then Nest is there.
If Unconfirmed then Nest might not be there, confirmation is needed.
If Gone? then Nest is probably not there.
If Best then the Nest is one of the best for that Pokemon.

|Confirmed Date=

The date when the nest was confirmed or denied.
E.g. 2016/08/01
We use Confirmed Date because Niantic changes spawn locations quite often.
