As you use the internet for all sorts of activities like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and even in applications like Pokemon Go, you use up data if you are not connected to a Wi-Fi. Data usage for Pokemon Go range for 2MB to 8MB or more per hour, depending on your activity in the game. Without setting a Data Limit, it could use up all of the data in you Data Plan.
