Type effectiveness

It refers to how effective or strong a certain Type of Move is against different Types of Pokemon.

Different Types of Moves can either be strong or weak against certain types of Pokemon. For example, a Fire Type Move is Not Very Effective against Water Type Pokemon, however, Fire Type Moves when used against Grass Type Pokemon can be Super Effective. Knowing the effect of the different Types of Moves against different Types of Pokemon is very important when Training or Battling. The Trainer must make sure to use the right Type of Move against the right Type of Pokemon. This is very important especially if the Combat Power and HP of the battling or training Pokemons are equal.
