The Pokemon Go app really consumes a lot of the phone’s battery life. Based on stories of hard-core Pokemon Go players, the game would drain their full battery after around 3 to 5 hours of playing. This issue can be inconvenient especially if you will need your phones in the workplace or at school. It has been addressed to the game makers and they have been developing ways for the app to consume less battery life. However, to ensure that your battery life can last until the end of the day, here are some tips that you may follow:

Limit in-game activities

The essence of the game is really exploring, catching all Pokemons, going to PokeStops and battling at Gyms. However, if you really need to save your battery life you can choose only the activities which are very important like catching rare Pokemons and going to Pokestops. Keep this up until you get home and charge or be able to get hold of a power-bank.

Adjust your brightness setting

Too much brightness actually consumes a lot of the phone’s battery life. This tip is actually applicable even if the user is user any other apps.

Close background apps

It can be really tiring to close all of the apps that we used; however, this could be a big factor on the battery life of our devices.
