The Pokemon Go app is supported by both Android and iOS. The phone requirements for both operating system is almost the same and just different in the version that allows the app.
Android Requirements
- Version: Android 4.4 and above
- Resolution: 720 x 1280 pixels (preferred)
- Strong internet connection: 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi
- Location Services or GPS
iOS Requirements
- Version: iOS 8 and above
- Phone: iPhone 5 and above
- Resolution: 720 x 1280 pixels (preferred)
- Strong internet connection: 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi
- Location Services or GPS
