Pokémon GO San Diego

"Pokémon GO San Diego" is one of the largest local user-based community groups established and acquired by Ali Vongsathian on July 17, 2021, during the annual Pokémon GO Fest Global Event. It was created as a Facebook Messenger group called "Pokémon GO City Heights" for the general usage of premium raid passes for this specific area. On April 27, 2020, Niantic, Inc. the developers of Pokémon GO introduced the remote raid pass feature that allowed players to raid anywhere across the world. As of April 1, 2022, the community operates in all counties of San Diego. It was eventually merged with Discord and rebranded as "Pokémon GO San Diego" on August 17, 2021.
