*Turning off [http://xinreality.com/wiki/Augmented_Reality AR] will keep the Pokemon in the center of screen, giving you an easier time to catch it.
*The size of the targeting circle changes constantly. Throw the Poke Ball when the circle is small and you will have the best chance to successfully capturing the Pokemon.
*The color of the targeting circle indicates how difficult it is to catch that Pokemon. Green is easiest, yellow harder, orange is even harder and red is the hardest. You might want to use better [[Poke Balls]] such as [[Great Ball|Great]] or [[Ultra Ball]] for the latter colors.

The spinning adds a curve to your ball's travel path. It also grants you more [[XP]] when the circle is small and you will have the best chance to successfully capturing the catches a Pokemonwith this method.
*Pokemon can dodge or parry you balls. You can avoid it by touch the ball and hold it or continuously spin it until the Pokemon has performed a dodge or parry, then immediately release the ball.
