An Egg Incubator is used to hatch [[Eggs]]. When in an incubator, the player is required to travel a distance of usually 2 to 10 km in order to hatch the egg. This is tracked through a mixture of your phone's GPS and Pedometer - and moving too fast (like in a moving vehicle) may cancel the tracking.
To start, the player is given an Egg Incubator (Orange) that can be used an unlimited amount of times, and others (Blue) can be bought from the Store for 150 [[PokeCoins]], or given as rewards for [[levels|leveling up]]. *Note that the acquired Egg Incubators will break after being used 3 times.*Use the acquired Egg Incubators for shorter distance eggs (2km and 5km) and use the permanent one for 10k ones. So you won't need to replace incubators constantly.
