Energy is the blue bar(s) below your Pokemon's HP during battles. Standard Moves fill up energy while Special Moves deplete energy. Different Standard Moves fill up energy at different rates and different Special Moves require different energy to use.
- Maximum Energy is 100 or 1 long bar.
Note that during Gym Battles, the defending Pokemon gains 0.5 Energy per 1 HP lost.
Energy Requirement is the amount of Energy needed to use a Special Move.
